Chapter 11

Chapter 11 is all about Issues in implementing technology in schools. It addresses the ISTE National Educational Technology Standards for Teachers. About planning and designing learning environments and experiences, assesment and evaluation, productivity and professional practice, and social, ethical, legal, and human issues. It talks about Strategic planning, how and why they spend so much time preparing for technology. It explains copyright and the fair use of using resources. It talks about the freedom of speech and the interent, and how the content on the interent is not regulated and some material are not acceptable for children. It talks about Academic Dishonesty where they have websites where students hire someone to write their papers, which to me is unfair and I don't think they should be able to have these websites. It gives you a detail description of Wireless networking. How schools offer WiFi and most local business places offer Wifi. I thought chapter 11 gave you a basic learning of technology in schools, How they are hiring people to write papers, and the use of WiFi in schools.
