Chapter 7

The biggest part of chapter seven was about the variety of ways to communicate over the internet. E-mails, chat rooms, instant messaging, discussions, mailing list, and video confrencing are just a few communication techniques that are discussed in this chapter. What I found interesting was that most of these techniques are things that we use everyday, but I 'm sure like most of you I didn't realize that all of these could be used in the classroom. If you take a look at the elementary students they are just as savy when communicating through technology as we are as college students. My opinion is that it is more important than ever that we, as future teachers, learn to communicate not only with the other faculty members and parents through technology, but also the students.
