Chapter 5

Chapter 5 talks about administrative software and the ways it can be used in the classroom. The main topic of this chapter is productivity software. Productivity software includes word processing, elecronic spreadsheets, database management systens, and presentation software. Before reading this chapter I had a good idea of how word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software could be used by teachers, but I didn't understand how data bases could be used within the classroom. After reading this chapter I learned that a data base is basicly used to get organized both in teaching and professional task.
